Linking personal goals to organizational strategy
Setting personal goals for employees has historically been a poorly executed process within organizations. Increasingly organizations have sort to develop a robust process that links personal goals to overall business objectives, but nonetheless, the result has often led to reinforcement of ’silo’ behaviour rather than creating an aligned organization working together.

Setting personal goals that align the organization and motivate employees to perform is key. We examine a structured process to achieve alignment with business results, whilst at the same time realising the impact of other ‘softer’ elements in goal setting such as competency development and value exhibition.

Reward mechanisms may also incentivise or demotivate depending on how they are designed.
