Behind every successful Project, there is a Competent Project Manager.
Since the success of the projects is so critical to the organizations, demand for capable Project Managers who can ‘deliver’, has ever been in an increasing trend.
More so, organizations are keen to improve the capabilities of existing Project managers to take enable them to take up more challenging assignments and finish them successfully.
We assist organizations in assessment of existing Project Managerial personnel to hone up their competencies, leading to better performance. During this process, we use the standard PMI model ‘PMCD – Project Manager Competency Development Framework ‘, as a reference.
The Assurance framework encompasses the assessments in the Knowledge element, Delivery or Performance element and Personal competencies demonstrated by Project Managers, as a three dimensional model.
Project specific Performance criteria for each of the elements in the model are drawn up and the individual’s competencies are evaluated therein, leading to a Project Manager Competency Summary Scorecard.
For the areas identified for improvement, a personal roadmap for developing the competence of the Project Manager is also worked out.
Since Project Managers operate in a larger organizational structure, the interlinkages between the Project Managers’ competencies and the organizational Maturity levels are highlighted to have a better synergy.
