Delphi Technical Center
Tarak Balaji, Director

Designing a low cost cluster for the much publicized TATA Nano vehicle has been quite challenging, though it kindled the creative spirits of Delphi Engineers in terms of Program Management and Engineering Execution. This talk will focus on the key challenges of doing 3 major “electronic” product design cycles in less than 1 year and how a conventional project management timeline of 36 months was cut short to 14 months, without comprising on quality & on-time delivery but at the same time optimizing the total cost of the product.
