The success of events like the IT Service Excellence Conference demonstrates the immense and increasing importance that enterprises worldwide are placing on effective IT Service Management. ITSM is no longer an optional extra, it is essential for any enterprise that is serious about delivering high-quality, cost-effective and efficient IT-enabled services. As a not-for-profit membership organization focused specifically on developing and promoting the use of best practice in this area, itSMF (IT Service Management Forum) welcomes initiatives to further this goal.
itSMF has national chapters in 27 countries, with more joining almost every week. Much preliminary work has been done in India and we will be launching a chapter here early in the New Year. This conference provides an opportunity to the attendees to listen to what others have done and to learn from their experiences. I expect that you will find the ideas at this conference energizing and rewarding as you contemplate your personal development and your organizations' goals.
Aidan Lawes, CEO, IT Service Management Forum (itSMF)

The British Computer Society (BCS) has for some time felt the need for a substantial change in both the perception and the reality of professionalism within the IT profession. We are at the forefront of driving the worldwide change towards IT professionalism using the internationally recognized Information Systems Examination Board (ISEB) qualifications.
The launch in India of the ISEB IT Service Management qualifications based on ITIL®, is particularly key to any service provider in India whose strategic plans including working in the European and International marketplace.
Graham E Morris, International Sales Manager, BCS
It is my proud privilege to welcome you to yet another leadership initiative from QAI - itSEC 2005, being held in India for the first time. As in the past, it has been our endeavour to create forums for creative and motivated professionals to interact with thought leaders and cutting-edge practitioners and imbibe best practices.
We are grateful to the itSMF and the BCS for having partnered with us to shape this conference and promote professionalism, standards and the use of Best Practices in the area of IT Service Management in India
Dhiraj Lal, Vice President, QAI India Limited
